Katie & Sam

A fall Wedding at Prophetstown State Park

A breezy fall day was just the beginning of this incredibly important day to Katie and Sam. From the stunning view, at Prophetstown State Park, to the beginning of a new journey embarked together, it was truly spectacular. This day was most definitely a day to remember.

Katie and Sam have known each other for quite some time, and decided it was time to make a commitment to one another, in front of their beloved friends and family.

They said their vows, with the help of Katie's brother as their officiant, just beyond the Prophetstown State Park Pond. Their reception was later celebrated at the Prophetstown State Park Shelter. Their heritage was also highlighted through Swiss cheese, for Katie's Swiss heritage, and a knife as a gift from Katie's brother for Sam's German descent. It was a fun addition to their day!

Without a full wedding party, we were able to capture many gorgeous portraits of just the two of them. As their photographer, I was super giddy about this!

I pray many blessings over your marriage!
